Quote of All Times!

{( Kashmiri Pandits requesting Guru Teg Bahadur for help against their forced conversation to Islam By Aurangzeb. Nine-year-old son Gobind Rai(later Guru Gobind Singh) in his lap recommended to help them The Guru adopted and promised to protect Kashmiri Hindus}

"A Hindu warrior by the name of 'Tyag Mall'(Meaning; Renunciation of wealth and worldly possessions) ,showing his valour in the battle against Mughals became to be known as 'Teg Bahadur' (Mighty of the Sword),the most selfless martyr of the country who made supreme sacrifice to protect his Faith, rights and humanity, became to be  known as 'Hind di Chadar'(Shield of India), is unheralded and  being branded as Guru of Sikhs alone and no Hindu household is adorned by his picture. This is height of ingratitude of my hypocrite and selfish Nation."

-Tejinder Kamboj

               (1940-20??)
Notes

William Irvine states that Guru Tegh Bahadur was tortured for many weeks while being asked to abandon his faith and convert to Islam; he stood by his convictions and refused. The associates of the Guru were also tortured for refusing to convert: Bhai Mati Das was sawn into pieces and Bhai Dayal Das was thrown into a cauldron of boiling water, and Bhai Sati Das was burned alive, while Guru Tegh Bahadur was held inside a cage to watch his colleagues suffer. The Guru himself was beheaded in public in Chandni Chowk.

Now recognised and introduced to the world after Four hundred years

The only martyr in the world history who travelled 400 KMs on foot from Anandpur Sahib to Delhi to lay down his life.
