Sunday Special! -Baba-e Quam of Islamic Republic of Pakistan!

 

Pakistan means 'Holy Place' .'Stan' is derived from Sanskrit word 'Sthan' meaning Place or Land.This 'so called' holy place can either be Islamic or Republic. Father of Nation of Islamic republic of Pakistan had nothing to do with Islam.He never read Quran and had never entered a Masjid.Always wore western style clothing even when he was dying he insisted on being formally dressed,"I will not travel in my pajamas". He never wore the same tie twice.He ate pork, was fond of  Alcohol both prohibited in Islam.His first marriage lasted only a few weeks.His only contribution to Islam is Persian Lamb Cap,'Karakul' known as 'Jinnah cap'!

Muhammad Ali Jinnah (born Mahomedali Jinnahbhai; 25 December 1876 – 11 September 1948) was a barrister, politician and the founder of Pakistan.Jinnah served as the leader of the All-India Muslim League from 1913 until the inception of Pakistan on 14 August 1947, and then as the Dominion of Pakistan's first governor-general until his death. He is revered in Pakistan as the Quaid-i-Azam ("Great Leader")

Jinnah's grandfather was Hindu from Kathiawar Gujarat.His father was Punjlal Thakkar  Jinnahbhai Poonja converted to Islam's Shia sect,along with his three brothers.His mother  Mithibai  a Gujrati Hindu.Shias are not considered by Sunni Muslims as Muslims but as 'Kafirs'. As such Father of Islamic Republic of Pakistan was not Muslim but a Kafir (Non-Muslim) belonging to Shia sect and convert from Hindu lineage.

Jinnah was a British Indian(1876 to 1947) and became Pakistani in 1947.His mother tongue was Gujarati.He was neither fluent in his mother tongue nor in Urdu but only in English..He was a half-read person and ignorant.Jinnah knew nothing about World war -1 going on and  when Nehru asked him to excuse him as he wanted to meet  Chiang Kai-Shek he asked who is he?When Nehru told him  that the  man  was Commander in chief of the National Revolutionary Army of China.Jinnah remarked in that case he would also like to meet him.

Jinnah although a Barrister, was neither LLB nor LL M.He was 8th pass.His  legal education followed the pupillage (legal apprenticeship) system, which had been in force there for centuries.Legal Assistant could become a Lawyer To gain knowledge of the law, he followed an established barrister and learned from what he did, as well as from studying law books.During this period and enrolled at the Bombay High Court.

He was an aristocrat,smoked Cigar,ate pork,Drank Scotch Whiskey all prohibited in Islam He never read Quran and never entered a Masjid.When he visited a Mosque  in Delhi,accompanied by Mahatma Gandhi,he tried to enter the Mosque wearing shoes.When Gandhi asked him to remove his shoes,he said," Why? who said so?". My father heard two of his election speeches.In his first speech before him a Maulana was delivering a speech and the crowd was clapping repeatedly.In his turn when he delivered the speech there was dead silence.He asked his secretary what was the reason? Didn't I talk sense.The secretary told him that he need to apply 'Mazhabi tadka' to otherwise dull speech.He got the next speech written in English  from the secretary who punctuated  the speech with Aayats from Quran.When delivering the speech because of his English accent there was half hearted response from the audience, taking a pause on the pretext of taking a sip from a glass of water,about the Aayats he quoted he asked the secretary," Am I not saying the bloody things correctly?"

  

As regards his personal life,his first marriage with a Hindu girl  Emi Bai lasted only a few weeks. In his  forties,he abducted 16 year old daughter Rattan Bai(Ruttie) of his Parsi best friend Sir Dinshaw Petit on refusal of his proposal of giving him her daughter in marriage  and even filed a law suit restraining him to contact  his minor daughter as Jinnah wielded political and money power but he  indulged  in 'Zina' (Unlawful sexual relationship) with her for two years which is 'Haraam'(Illegal according to Islamic law) and married her when she was eighteen,converted her to Islam and named her Maryam Jinnah.She  gave birth to a daughter Dina.Ruttie died on her 29th birthday in mysterious circumstances in Taj hotel Bombay.

Jinnah in Urdu means 'Splendid' and 'Window'. I have tried to open 'window' to throw some light on his greatness.Mohammad was neither Shia nor Sunni whereas Ali was Shia(Considered as a Non-Muslim). Mohammad Ali Jinnah he was a dropout from high school,did not possess any law degree.What to talk of a book,has not written a single line in his life.God help the country whose Father of Nation is Mohammad Ali Jinnah Bhai!
