My
teacher had told me not to use Superlative degree,something which is
Good today,you can find better one tomorrow,there is nothing Best in
this World. "The most beautiful thing in
the universe is the human ability to comprehend it.
"Our universe is extraordinarily complex, with processes occurring on
all scales, from the subatomic world to the universe at large. Yet
humans have been able to discover a small number of laws — the laws of
nature — that appear to be capable of explaining
most (if not all) phenomena. Furthermore, with all its limitations, the
human mind has been able to develop precisely the kit of tools needed
to explain the universe. This wonderful arsenal of intellectual weapons
is the discipline we call mathematics.
We have been worshiping the Moon,in fact even worship today still considering it as 'Devta
Chandra,
the Lord of Planets, Lord of Rajanipati (lord of night), the God of
fertility, rides his chariot all over the sky every night. The day
Monday,
is dedicated to Chandra.
Chandra is described as young and beautiful, two-armed and carrying a club and a lotus In Hindu mythology, Chandra is the father of Budha (planet Mercury). The Chandra is married to the 27 daughters of Daksha, after whom the Nakshatras in Hindu astrology are named.
Chandra, who is also known as Soma and Indu, is the basis of Somvaar, which is Hindi, and Induvaasaram, which is Sanskrit, for Monday in the Hindu calendar.
Hindu ladies break their fast 'Karva Chauth ka Varat' after having 'darshan' of Chandra Devta
Muslims break their Fast 'Rozey' in Ramzaan only after having 'Dedaar' of 'Chaand'
Ramadan is the Islamic month of fasting.The Islamic calendar is based on the lunar cycle, and the beginning of each month is determined by when the new moon is seen. Muslims around the world await with great anticipation the announcement that the new moon – known as the ‘hilal’ in Arabic – has been sighted. The excitement is greatest ahead of the crescent which will herald the first of Ramadan, topped only by the new moon which marks Eid ul Fitr, the celebration that takes place on the first day of the month after Ramadan, and marks the end of the month of fasting.
The
moon is one of the creations of the Lord and the Lunar calendar is
guided by the phases of the moon. Allah says in the Quran:
Surah Yunus Ayah 5
هُوَ
الَّذِي جَعَلَ الشَّمْسَ ضِيَاءً وَالْقَمَرَ نُورًا وَقَدَّرَهُ
مَنَازِلَ
لِتَعْلَمُوا عَدَدَ السِّنِينَ وَالْحِسَابَ ۚ مَا خَلَقَ اللَّهُ
ذَٰلِكَ إِلَّا بِالْحَقِّ ۚ يُفَصِّلُ الْآيَاتِ لِقَوْمٍ يَعْلَمُونَ
It is He who appointed the sun a radiance (for mankind during the daytime) and the moon a light (for them at night)
and measured for her (the moon) phases (He made it consist
of 28 phases in 28 nights every month becoming concealed for two nights
when a particular month has 30 days or concealed for one night when it
has 29 days)
that ye might know the number of the years, and the reckoning (that you might know the counting of months and days)
Allah created not (all) that save in truth in order to expound the Truth and the error.
All of the events in the Islamic calendar are
ultimately based on the sighting of the new moon: the annual payment of
Zakah (whether it has become obligatory on someone or not), the time of
Ramadan (the month of fasting), the two Eid
festivals (First of Shawwal and the 10th of Dhu’l Hijjah), the Hajj in
the month of Dhu’l Hijjah etc.
Long before Mohammad was born ,the Kaba was home of 360 Idols ,One of these idols was the Moon God.

ALLAH – the Moon God |
The religion of Islam has as its focus of worship a deity by the name of
"Allah." The Muslims claim that Allah in pre-Islamic times was
the biblical God of the Patriarchs, prophets, and apostles. The issue is
thus one of continuity. Was
"Allah" the biblical God or a pagan god in Arabia during
pre-Islamic times? The Muslim's claim of continuity is essential to
their attempt to convert Jews and Christians for if
"Allah" is part of the flow of divine revelation in Scripture,
then it is the next step in biblical religion. Thus we should all become
Muslims. the hard evidence demonstrates that the god Allah was a pagan
deity. In fact, he was the Moon-god who was
married to the sun goddess and the stars were his daughters.
Basic facts of history:
- Moon worship has been practiced in Arabia since 2000 BC. The
crescent moon is the most common symbol of this pagan moon worship as
far back as 2000 BC.
- In Mecca, there was a god named Hubal who was Lord of the Kabah.
- This Hubal was a moon god.
- One
Muslim apologist confessed that the idol of moon god Hubal was placed
upon the roof of the Kaba about 400 years before Muhammad. This may in
fact be the origin of why the crescent moon is on top of every minaret
at the Kaba today and the central symbol
of Islam atop of every mosque throughout the world
- The moon god
was also referred to as "al-ilah". This is not a proper name of a
single specific god, but a generic reference meaning "the god". Each
local pagan Arab tribe would refer to their own local tribal pagan god
as "al-ilah".
- "al-ilah" was later shortened to Allah before Muhammad began promoting his new religion in 610 AD.
- There is evidence that Hubal was referred to as "Allah".
- When Muhammad came along, he dropped all references to the name "Hubal" but retained the generic "Allah".
- Muhammad retained almost all the pagan rituals of the Arabs at the Kaba and redefined them in monotheistic terms.
- Regardless of the specifics of the facts, it is clear that Islam is derived from paganism that once worshiped a moon-god.
- Although Islam is today a monotheist religion, its roots are in paganism.
The Moon god Sin
In ancient Egypt the Moon was equated with the god Thoth as the god of
wisdom and science. Thoth was also in charge of the calendar which still
was based on lunar months. Yet in Egypt the Moon slowly lost his
'leadership' over the Sun and was finally seen as
having been created by the Sun god Ra to illuminate the nocturnal sky.
