Why we are wasting milk on religious statues
"We worship the Cow but deprive it's calf from her milk.Millions of kids are dying of malnutrition and hunger every day and we waste the milk for idol worship on the belief that by doing so something good will happen in our life, fearing of bad.In fact ,people are not 'Godophillic'(God loving) but 'Godophobic'(God fearing).Shiva is known for his anger and strong actions and milk has cooling properties.God needs faith from us not materialistic things like money,honey or milk.In Gita,(9.26) the Lord Krisna Says,

"If one offers to me with devotion a leaf, a flower, a fruit, or even water, I delightfully partake of that article offered with love by my devotee in pure consciousness." Such rituals are encouraged by the priestly class to maintain the sense of importance and perpetuate and regressive and illogical ritual"

Sunday Special--God's Cow!

When I was a child,I was fascinated by  a few insects,like Butterflies,Jugnu (Glow worm-or firefly), Lady bug,and Beer bahuti(Brother's Bride-In Punjabi).The former two were out of reach of kids, Ladybirds and Beer Bahuti have long been of interest to children, as such I could play with the later Two. Now I learnt that both my favorites are somehow related to the cow! Surprised? I share my research  with you, as follows :- ladybugs/ lady birds called "God's cows" in some languages (such as Russian, French, Hebrew, etc.) The creature beloved in many countries. In Russian, we call it “God’s cow”. Yep, something like this. Ladybugs smell with their feet and antennae. Soma Ras, the Drink of the Gods! Soma is a Vedic Sanskrit word that literally means "distill, extract,Sprinkle" The oldest known distiller in South Asia. was discovered from the ruins of the ancient Indus Valley Civilization in Pakistan’s present-day Sindh province. The distiller is said to be over 4000 years old. Displayed in a museum in the Pakistan city of Taxila, archeologists say it was used to distill oil and alcoholic beverages. An ancient painting showing a Hindu deity drinking soma. Soma was a wine made from the extract of wild mushrooms and some other plants. The drink is first mentioned in the earliest sacred Hindu text, the Rigveda (composed 3000 years ago).
